Η φάση που εν πολλοίς έκρινε την έκβαση του Game 4 ήταν η τρομερή τάπα του Γιάννη Αντετοκούνμπο πάνω στον Deandre Ayton, 1 λεπτό και 15 δεύτερα πριν τη λήξη της αναμέτρησης και με τα "ελάφια" να προηγούνται μόλις με ένα καλάθι διαφορά (101-99) σε εκείνο το σημείο.

Ο «Greek Freak» ακολούθησε τη φάση με τεράστια συνέπεια, βρέθηκε μπροστά από τον ψηλό των «ήλιων» και τον έκοψε στα ίσια προκαλώντας ντελίριο, όχι μόνο στους παρευρισκόμενους στο «Fiserv Forum», αλλά και σε όλο το φίλαθλο κοινό που "οργίασε" στα social media.
